Job overview:

We are seeking a results-oriented Sales Account Representative / Business Development Account Manager to drive new business and expand existing relationships in the life sciences sector. This role is ideal for a pharmaceutical sales representative with experience in professional services and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business across multiple service areas (compliance, validation, training, etc.)
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract close
  • Expand revenue with existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling
  • Lead and manage responses to RFPs and pricing proposals
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Collaborate with internal teams to scope solutions and deliverables
  • Represent G&M at industry conferences, meetings, and virtual events
  • Develop and execute account plans and sales strategies

Required

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 4+ years of B2B sales experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries required
  • Proven success meeting or exceeding annual revenue targets
  • Experience selling services (e.g., consulting, validation, compliance solutions)
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and CRM management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and self-motivated

This position offers a base salary range of $80,000 - $100,000 annually, ( base is commensurate with experience and qualifications)
In addition to base salary, this role includes commission based on revenue generation.
