Data Entry Clerk - Medical Device Intake (2nd Shift)

Position Overview:

This is a 2nd shift position responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient processing of medical devices while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. As an Intake Operator, you will play a vital role in receiving, processing, and uploading data from medical devices to support patient care and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all relevant standards and regulations including HIPAA, ISO 13485, Joint Commission, and OSHA.
• Follow all work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Patch Intake area and work surfaces.
• Perform recycling and waste management practices in accordance with company policies.
• Receive and process medical devices, including de-kitting and verification of patient information.
• Upload device data to proprietary data management software accurately and efficiently.
• Meet established deadlines, productivity goals, and quality metrics.
• Identify, communicate, and document safety, quality, or process issues promptly.
• Comply with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) for accurate record-keeping.
• Participate in lean activities, 5S improvements, and team problem-solving initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of three months experience in a medical device, manufacturing, or regulatory environment preferred, not required.
• Proficient in using computers and data entry.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment supporting organizational goals.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work assignments.
• Dependable, reliable, and proactive in addressing issues.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
