Role Summary

Our client, a global workforce solutions provider, is seeking a Medical Device Engineering Sales Leader to drive revenue growth and lead a team of sales professionals within the medical device engineering sector.

This role is responsible for executing sales strategy, expanding client relationships, and delivering workforce and project-based solutions. The position requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and experience managing high-performing sales teams in a consultative sales environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop, and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve revenue growth and performance targets
  • Drive demand for engineering staffing and project-based (SOW) solutions through effective pipeline management
  • Expand relationships with existing clients while developing new business opportunities to increase market share and profitability
  • Oversee contract negotiations and pricing strategies to maximize revenue and margin
  • Establish and execute sales strategies aligned with business growth objectives
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative team culture with clear accountability and coaching
  • Provide ongoing feedback, performance management, and professional development to team members
  • Improve efficiency across sales activities, including lead generation, pipeline development, and conversion

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in staffing and solutions sales within the medical device industry
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience managing and developing sales teams
  • Proven ability to sell to senior stakeholders both virtually and in person
  • Strong understanding of consultative sales methodologies and workforce solutions offerings
  • Experience developing sales materials, presentations, and client proposals
  • Solid financial acumen, including pricing and contract negotiation
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to align sales execution with broader engineering or technical growth strategies

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading sales teams within engineering-focused or technical service environments
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, growth drivers, and challenges within medical device engineering

Compensation & Work Model
  • Base salary range: $120,075 – $195,000 annually, with variation based on experience and geographic location
  • Comprehensive benefits package provided (details shared during hiring process)
  • Work model dependent on business needs and team structure
  • Flexible location: candidates may be based anywhere in the U.S.
