Thriving medical device sales company in Connecticut is seeking dynamic, experienced, self-motivated and organized individual for medical device sales spine representative position to grow with us.  Do you have what it takes?
 
Job Description
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Will maintain and grow existing accounts as well as develop and execute a plan to develop new accounts and sales objectives in territory.
  • Develop product awareness, providing education to clinicians, and raise demand.
  • Work within the operating room providing technical support during cases to surgeons and cater to the needs of the surgeon allowing surgeries to run smoothly. 
  • Utilize resources and develop knowledge of surgical products through technical updates, product specialists, management assistance, and clinical applications.  
  • Staying abreast of the spinal industry, and a diligence to participate in constant updates and company training is required.
  • Time will be spent attending surgeries and calling on physicians’ offices, developing new sources of business, conducting lunch and learns, breakfasts and furthering the company brand and value to our Physician partners and their staff. 
  • Able to comfortably call on a variety of different Medical settings to include, Physician Offices, Urgent Care Centers, Surgical Centers, Government Health Facilities, etc. 
  • Salary $50k & plus commission opportunities
Requirements
Interested applicants must:
  • Possess the ability to manage the territory responsibilities including covering cases in hospital operating rooms.
  • Build business through developing surgeon relationships.
  • Have a 4-year college degree preferred and have demonstrated successful outside sales experience. Special consideration given to candidates with B2B sales experience.
  • Fast learner and not afraid to perform under pressure.
  • Ideal candidate has prior knowledge of spine and/or orthopedic procedures.
  • Possess a proven track record demonstrating leadership qualities.
  • Must have the ability to work with all types of people. 
  • Be detailed orientated, focused, self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and be willing to work long hours with a positive attitude
  • Must be able to life 50lbs easily.
  • Able to maintain sustainable inventory levels.
  • Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
