RemX is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and support advanced process equipment used in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated professional with strong mechanical and electrical skills, and experience traveling for field service work. They possess strong troubleshooting abilities, can work independently at customer sites, and maintain high standards of customer service and equipment reliability.

 

Note: This position requires 70% - 80% travel throughout the US (with Canada and possible international travel down the line)

The Position:

  • Perform installation, preventive maintenance, repairs, retrofits, upgrades, and troubleshooting on advanced process equipment
  • 3+ years experience as a Field Service Technician, Field Service Engineer, or similar field-based technical role
  • Strong mechanical and technical background with ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electrical issues, including PLC-based systems
  • Travel 70% - 80% nationally (primarily US; Canada and possible international travel down the line)
    Offer on-site troubleshooting, technical support, and customer training on equipment
  • Support factory acceptance tests, site acceptance tests, equipment startups, and service activity at customer sites
  • Strong ability to interact and communicate effectively with diverse customers and colleagues


The Details:

  • Field service experience with industrial machinery and PLC troubleshooting is needed; pharmaceutical, chemical, biomedical, or other regulated equipment experience is a plus
  • Ability to travel 70% - 80% throughout the US and sometimes internationally
