Medical Device Sales Representative

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Medical Device Sales Representative to develop new business, manage customer relationships, and drive revenue growth within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate is passionate about sales, enjoys building relationships with healthcare professionals, and has a proven track record of exceeding sales goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience (medical device, pharmaceutical, or B2B sales preferred).
  • Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Excellent prospecting and lead generation skills.
  • Strong closing and negotiation abilities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with a consultative selling approach.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and data entry skills.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of professionalism.
  • Ability to learn and communicate technical product information.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM software (Salesforce experience preferred).
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market research.
  • Research prospective accounts and build relationships with physicians, hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers.
  • Present product demonstrations and educate customers on product features, benefits, and clinical applications.
  • Prepare pricing proposals and quotations.
  • Negotiate and close new business while achieving or exceeding sales objectives.
  • Manage existing accounts by reviewing purchasing history, identifying growth opportunities, and introducing new products.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback to identify sales opportunities.
  • Coordinate customer orders with internal operations and fulfillment teams while communicating delivery expectations and resolving order issues.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within the company's CRM system.
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and operations to provide exceptional customer support.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable healthcare industry regulations.
  • Recommend process improvements that enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Take ownership of departmental initiatives and contribute to organizational growth.

Preferred Experience
