Job Description
Make an Impact on How Medicines Reach Patients

At Adare, we partner with leading pharmaceutical companies to bring critical therapies to market. As a Materials Specialist on our Packaging Team (levels I, II, or III), you’ll be the steady hand that keeps production moving—supplying lines, safeguarding lot integrity, and upholding cGMP standards so patients receive safe, high-quality products.

A day on our Packaging Team

You arrive on the floor and review the day’s schedule with Line Leaders. Before the first bottle is filled, you’ve staged each packaging line with bulk drug and the right components for upcoming jobs. As lines run, you monitor material levels so hoppers stay loaded and production never pauses for shortages. Finished goods are moved promptly to quarantine, and you document component and product issues to maintain strict lot integrity.

Between jobs, you assist with changeovers—cleaning to cGMP and SOP requirements, sanitizing floors, and clearing vents. You help keep the washroom, slat room, unused lines, and the packaging component warehouse spotless. You collect recyclables and waste from staging areas and get them to the proper destinations, remove excess empty pallets, and ensure the area stays uncluttered and safe. Throughout the shift, you run routine checks to confirm quality and production standards are met without any cGMP violations.

What you will do
  • Stage bulk product and packaging components for scheduled and upcoming jobs.
  • Keep material hoppers loaded so packaging lines run continuously.
  • Transfer finished product to designated quarantine locations and preserve lot integrity for all issues.
  • Assist with line clean-up and product changeovers; clean per cGMPs and SOPs.
  • Conduct routine in-process checks to verify quality and production standards.
  • Perform scheduled floor sanitization and vent cleaning.
  • Maintain a safe, clutter-free staging area; remove empty pallets and excess waste containers.
  • Support cleanliness of washroom, slat room, unused lines, and the component warehouse.
  • Stock department supplies: drums of alcohol, soap, trash liners, cleaning cloths, and more.
  • Follow Line Leader direction to meet customer commitments and team goals.
  • Complete all required training and take on other duties as assigned.
What you bring
  • High school diploma/GED; experience in a related environment or an equivalent mix of education, experience, and training.
  • Ability to follow cGMPs and SOPs precisely.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
Physical demands

This role is active. You will stand and walk, handle packaging components and supplies, lift up to 50 lbs independently, and move items over 50 lbs using material handling equipment. Operation of powered pallet hand jacks is required.

  • Packaging environments
